The first song that I loved by Chris Brown was “Say Goodbye”. I. think it was the first song I heard by him. I think I first heard it on the commercial for Step Up (the first one) because he made this song for that movie. He even did a music video to go with the movie that is on the DVD. Right away I thought it was just the sweetest song. Probably the sweetest song that he has made. Even better than “With You”. This was my very first ringtone, well… except for all the ones that came with the phone. It just seems like the more I listen to it, the more I love it. It is one of the top listened to songs on my Ipod. Even though it is a couple years old now, and I have listened to it hundreds of times, Chris Brown singing this song never gets old. I will be in my eighties listening to this song.

     Although he is breaking up with his girlfriend (in the song) it is a really adorable song.plus, the way he sings it, it sounds honest instead of just a song.  Gosh, it is just the cutest when he says “Sometimes it makes me want to cry!”. That makes me want to cry!  In the song he says “There is never a right time to say goodbye”. That is so perfect because it is true. And he also says “I really don’t feel the way, I once felt about you” which shows that he doesn’t want to break up with his girlfriend but he isn’t feeling the same way anymore. I think it is better to break up with someone because you don’t have feelings for them anymore than to act like you still love them and stay with them. Because then you are unhappy and you are lying everyday to someone that has TRUE feelings for you. He just seems really nice when he is breaking up with her too. Except in the music video on the DVD, he almost (not quite) almost cheats on her. Poor girl, if I was dating Chris Brown, I would do everything I could so that we could stay together. But then again, his girlfriend in the music video seemed pretty mean and controlling. I don’t think he really liked her at all. Well, it is a really awesome song. I love it! His best song ever.
