It’s been awhile since I have heard a new, really great song. But finally, The Pussy Cat Dolls brought that to you and me. The song “I Hate This Part” is my new favorite song! It is on their latest album, Doll Domination, and it was their second single released from this album. This song has done extremely well on the charts, reaching number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 10 on the Billboard Pop 100.

This song has a really interesting beat to it. The music is a little bit faster than the lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger’s vocals. It starts out with a simple piano in the beginning and then it adds a continuous beat. It keeps you moving and singing along to make it a really good song. The best part of the lyrics is when Nicole Scherzinger sings, “The world slows down, but my heard beats fast right now.” That part just gives me chills up my spine. I can definitely say I don’t “Hate This Part.” I “Love This Part.”

The music video is also one to see. I like the music video even thought it doesn’t really have a story line, or anything that you have to follow. It is one of those that works when it is not super complicated or too much. This much I will say about The Pussy Cat Dolls, they have style! I would love to be in their wardrobe. All of them are absolutely gorgeous, and this video just adds to their sex appeal.

Over all, I do recommend you to listen to this song. I doubt, very seriously, that you will be let down. It only took me one time to listen to it, to start tapping my foot and nodding my head and, of course, be belting out the lyrics. 

No music site is complete unless it has a little bit of Michael Jackson on it. So my pick of one of the many cool songs by Michael Jackson is “Black or White”. This single came out in 1991 on his album called Dangerous.  This song reached number one on the US Billboard top 100 and the UK Singles Chart, among many other countries. That just proves what a great song it is, by all of its ranks in all those countries.

My favorite part of this song is the music. It has a easy going guitar through out the entire thing and then when Michael Jackson’s voice is mixed with the music, it just sounds right. Almost like nature made it. Then there is a 30 second period where Michael’s voice takes over and the music is just there building up to the rapping.

The music video is pretty stupid. It takes almost half the video to get the music started. And once it was started the best thing in it is the music. Absolutely pointless music video. The kid from “Home Alone”, Macaulay Culkin, was in the video singing the rap performance done by Bill Bottrell. The only part I did like was the end because it had people from different races morphing into other people. Tyra Banks, being an African American, was one of those people.

Over all it is a pretty awesome song. Who doesn’t just love a song that promotes racial unity? I love when stars make such a big statement for the greater good since they have so many followers and fans. It is even kind of interesting that Michael Jackson, being “Black… or White,” did this song. I love what this song stands for. Everyone makes a difference in this world and it is nice when big influences take a stand in something they believe in. So there we have it, now we have a complete music site.

Our next hottie on the list is LL Cool J. Despite what we all think, LL Cool J is not all muscles, he is also an awesome actor and an amazing music artist. My favorite scene in “Last Holiday” starring the one and only LL Cool J and Queen Latifah, is when LL Cool J starts taking off his shirt and licking his lips… good movie.

Back to the muscles, those perfected large muscles. His abs, pecks, biceps, triceps, and every other body part are absolutely made of stone. Muscles, period, are just sexy. So not including everything else about him, he is sexy just because of his muscles alone.

But if you are counting everything else, I guess we can start with his sweet smile. He is another one with a little grin that makes your heart almost stop and then have it speed up like the drivers of NASCAR. He doesn’t look like the type of guy that has a beautiful smile from a far but then he comes up and he is one of the cutest men ever. His lips are the biggest lips I have ever seen and they are adorable when he smiles.

LL Cool J also ahs a cute personality. Anyone who can works with Queen Latifah in a romantic movie must have a good personality. The roles actors choose really show a lot about their personality. Well to the exception of him being a murderer in an episode of House. I can just picture LL Cool J being a nice person and a sweet dad.

“Hold on Loosely”  by .38 Special is one of the coolest rock songs I have heard recently. Sure, it came out back in 1981, on their Wild-Eyed Southern Boys album, which went PLATINUM, baby! I mean, obviously, because this song was on it and this song is awesome.

I love songs because it is like an equation or a recipe. You add and subtract parts and produce a product, right? Well one of the best mixtures in the song is the guitar playing. I swear I was doing the air guitar throughout this entire song. The guitar is fun and it the perfect ingredient for a awesome rock song. It is the is a perfect combination between the vocals and the music. Neither one over powers the other. But you can listen to both and have a really good song.

Another ingredient to the pot of rock is the beat. The beat has to go with the music and the lyrics, and it does in “Hold on Loosely”. Something about it’s rhythm makes me want to keep listening to it. The only that is not good about this song, is it gets stuck in you head. I have been singing this song in my head non-stop for a couple of weeks now!

No wonder why this band named themselves after a rimmed, centerfire bullet cartridge because they “kill”. Ha-ha. Pun intended. No, but seriously, this song is awesome, a true rock song. I only wish there was a music video for this song. I bet it would be too cool.
